Hey friends! It’s almost time for the current CR to be up…what’s your gut instinct about a shutdown? You think it’s coming or congress is going to try to push through despite all that’s happened lately!!!

My prediction is a brief shutdown. As for how long the “stopgap” spending agreement will be that ends the shutdown, who knows. There’s at least an even chance for another short kick-the-can-down-the-road agreement as has become the practice in recent years.
The CR passed with bipartisan votes Friday to avoid a shutdown. The short-term spending bill will keep the government open through the end of September.
