A significant government-wide effort is underway to consolidate more than 100 federal human resources systems into a single Core Human Capital Management (Core HCM) platform. Agencies will transition to this new system over the next two years and will serve as the federal government’s single system of record for personnel management. This reform will eliminate waste and inefficiency and potentially improve the federal government’s ability to manage its workforce.
