The Federal government, through negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers, continues to lower the prices of high-cost prescription drugs. The Trump administration announced significant price reductions yesterday for Eli Lilly and Company and Novo Nordisk’s popular weight loss drugs, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Orforglipron—prices to fall by as much as 70%. Approval for Zepbound, and Orforglipron is pending.
