I love the community we’re building here - whether it’s job support or understanding new policies or celebrating wins, I love the positivity and honesty that I see here. I saw a poster on Reddit share about their inability to find work after taking the DRP. They’re stressed and anxious about what to do and the community was somewhat supportive but a lot of negativity on politics. The post was finally deleted then.
I think it’d be helpful to share any job search tactics or mental health strategies you’ve leaned into in 2025 as you make the career switch or ways you’ve supported your federal friends and family. I think leaving the federal government isn’t just a job change, for many, it’s a career switch.
