I am looking for guidance on the paths I can take to become a Security Architect.
I have experience in System/Network Administration, and Security engineering maintaining, monitor and deploying Security tools. I do not have professional cloud experience, no containerization, and IaC experience, and only basic python and SDLC academic experience.
I don’t know if certs are worth focusing on whether CISSP, OSCP, Cloud industry or general certs etc,. I already have Security+.
I am seeking guidance whether someone has stood these roles, and for salary outlook, trainings/resources that has helped the most, whatever similar helped them attain this role. For anyone suggesting a better path than Security Architect, please express what and why.
