The DOE issued a conditional commitment for a loan of up to $263 million to support the construction of Chrysalis, a high-volume [medical isotope production facility](https://www.energy.gov/articles/does-office-energy-dominance-financing-announces-conditional-commitment-domestic-medical) in Janesville, Wisconsin. This project will support hundreds of construction and operation jobs, contributing to a strong next-generation American nuclear workforce.
