Federal employees can purchase [long-term care insurance](https://fedretire.net/long-term-care-insurance-future-purchase-option/) with a range of features. The least expensive insurance plan is their future Purchase option. Individuals are offered inflation-adjusted coverage every two years at a higher premium.
